Hawaii Wedding Ministers-Reverents & Pastors

"Like a flute of the Angles ,the conch shell reverberates through the breeze calling forth the return of Love"

Rev has been officiating non denominational weddings in Honolulu since 1996.
Down to earth minister who loves surfing and the Hawaiian culture,
He will officiate traditional and non denominational  wedding ceremonies.
he has two children and knows the Japanese language to do simple vows
.

Out of affection for ______ & ______, we have gathered to witness and bless their mutual vows, which will unite them in marriage. To this moment, they bring their hearts as a treasure to share with one another; they bring the dreams which bind them together; they each bring a unique spirit, out of which will grow the reality of their life together.

I want to thank our guests here today. You have given part of yourself to ______ & ______ relationship. Your love, guidance and support will be forever appreciated.

The Hawaiian word for family and friends is “ohana” Today it is not just the two of your lives joining together; it is your separate ohana joining together as well. It is truly a blessing that your ohans has traveled across the Pacific Ocean to be with you as you say your wedding vows.

Another Hawaiian word I would like to share with you is “aina” which means land. Please take in this beautiful aina…the majestic Koolau mountains, the beautiful white sand beach. This is aina where you will be saying your wedding vows.

Please face each other and hold hands, so that you may feel the gift that you are to one another.
“These are the hands of your best friend, young and strong and full of love for you, that are holding yours on your wedding day as you promise to love each other today, tomorrow and forever.”
“These are the hands that will work along side yours as together you will build your future.”
“These are the hands that will passionately love your and cherish your throughout the years, and with the slightest touch comfort you like no other.”
“These are the hands that will hold you when fear or grief wracks your mind.”
“These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes, tears of sorrow and tears of joy.”
“These are the hands that will help you hold your family as one.”
“These are the hands that will give you strength when you need it.”
“And lastly, these are the hands that even when wrinkled and aged will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch.”

Marriage Vows
I __________ take___________ to be my wedded wife/husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish for as long as we both shall live.

I will ask you now to seal the vows which you have just made by the giving and receiving of rings.

I hold in my hand two beautiful rings. The wedding ring, a complete circle, is the symbol of the completeness a husband and wife find in a marriage relationship. The ring has no beginning and no end, just as true love is never-ending. As you place the wedding ring on each other’s hand, our prayer is that your love for each other will be as eternal and everlasting as these rings.

With this ring, I _________ take you, ___________ to be my wedded wife/husband.

PRAYER
God, give this couple wisdom and devotion so that each may be to the other a strength in need, a counselor in perplexity, a comfort in sorrow, and a companion in joy.
Grant that their wills may be so knit together in your will, and their spirits in your spirit, that they may grow in love and peace with you and with each other all the days of their life.
Give them grace, when they hurt each other, to recognize and acknowledge their fault, and to seek each other's forgiveness.
Bestow on them, if it is your will, the gift and heritage of children, and the grace to bring them up to know you, to love you, and to serve you.
Give them such fulfillment of their mutual affection that they may reach out in love and concern for others.
Grant that all married persons who have witnessed these vows may find their lives strengthened and their loyalties confirmed.
Amen.

The 1st Letter to the Corinthians, Chapter 13, verse 4~7
Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, it does not boast it is not proud. It is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick tempered, it does not brood over injury. It does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.

These words tell us the true meaning of love. It is this love, which you will need for each other because today you will now belong entirely to each other, one in mind, one in heart and in all things. No greater blessing of happiness can come to you than to have the days ahead. May your love and aloha continuously grow truer and more wonderful with each day you enjoy together.

Pronouncement
For as much as ______ & _________ have consented together in the bonds of wedlock, and have witnessed the same before God and these present; by the powers vested in me by the State of Hawaii, I now pronounce you husband and wife.
